Inspired by the monocle and the color wheel, this LEICA X3 concept looks at picking the best features found on smartphones and marrying them with the ones found on a digital camera. So basically this is a lovechild that is the size of a lens and transfers the pictures instantly to your smartphone, tablet or Mac via Bluetooth. The camera is automatically turned on when the lens is flipped out and a simple user interface allows you take pictures in a jiffy.

Specs include both manual and automatic control for aperture, shutter speed and ISO. I like the direction of this concept; it aims at tapping into the future of photography and brings a totally new dimension to the modern habit of sharing pictures with the world.

Designer Francisco Ulla’s concept for a Toyota brand Hybrid Bike focuses on use of lightweight materials and straightforward functionality of its electric motor that together offer efficient mobility in the city. The small rechargeable motor is located in the crankset near the pedal and provides instantaneous assisted power on command using the handlebar throttle. Composed almost entirely of aluminum and bioplastic, the design upholds Toyota’s modern eco-conscious direction making it a perfect compliment to the hybrid city car.

Designed with small businesses, merchants, and local agriculturalists in mind, Ceal is an innovative tool that makes it possible to easily close up almost any type of bag. No bigger than a blow-dryer, the lightweight, durable device can quickly and safely seal produce, clothing, or any other dry good. The stitching pattern won’t provide an air-tight hold, but it’s a great solution for cheaper, portable way to prepare bagged items for transportation or bulk selling.

It’s an age-old agenda, to have the perfect setup that allows you to work on the computer endlessly and yet maintain the correct posture. Time and again specialists insist and designers execute ideas that support an ergonomic table and chair, ideal for computer usage. Biuro is just that.
Biuro is an ergonomic desk for appropriate laptop use. It is meant to avoid musculoskeletal problems caused by a wrong posture. It allows the user to have a better position while working on this laptop, thanks to a tablet, which raises the height of the screen.

As the designer duo Joshua Resnikoff and Aaron Panone articulate it, ‘the canning jar makes an awesome platform for a travel mug: it’s easy to clean, made of heat-resistant glass, cheap, durable, and when sealed it doesn’t leak.’ And to plug the problem of their large openings and drinking-spills, the eco-friendly plastic lid does its bit. Made in the USA, phthalate and BPA free, CUPPOW is recyclable, and it doesn’t break the bank!

Currently there are several variations available: The Original Cuppow Wide, The Original Cuppow Wide – Orange, The Original Cuppow Regular with Straw-Tek and The Original Cuppow Regular with Straw-Tek – Blue.

Essentially, all you need to do is place the CUPPOW on the canning jar, screw on the lid securely and you are ready to go! Just remember, 5 CUPPOWS that are in colors are all paired with charitable initiatives that receive 5% of the profit from those products.
