(When we prostrate and get closer to the ground
We are elevated above the sky
For life without Your pleasure
Can neither be enjoyed nor endured without worry
For You to be pleased with us O Allah
Is paradise on earth O Allah
So please accept the prostration of these foreheads )

و آنقدر اوج گرفتی که به مقام بالایی رسیدی

من قاب قوسین لم تدرک و لم ترم
نزدیکترین جا به خدا ، جاييکه هیچ مخلوقی آن را درک نخواهد کرد و به آن حد نمیرسد

For his life, that turned night to brightest noon
برای زندگیش، که شب تیره را به روز روشن تبدیل می کرد

For his teeth, that shone with a diamond’s gleam
از برای دندانهایش، که درخششی چون مروارید داشتند

For his neck, like silver and ivory
از برای گردن زیبایش

For his wisdom, priceless beyond all things
از برای فرزانگی اش، که پر بهاتر از همه چیز است

او و خاندانش را قرین آرامش بدار

For his hands that toiled yet were smooth and soft
از برای دستان زحمت کش و در عین حال لطیفش

For his feet that swelled as he worshipped God
از برای پاهایش، که از عبادت خدا متورم گردیده بود

For the marks on his back that brought tears to Umar
از برای نشان هایش بر پشت، که اشک به چشمان عمر می آورد

Send peace on him and his family
او و خاندانش را قرین آرامش بدار

When his blessed body was pierced by rocks
هنگامی که سنگها بدنش را می شکافتند

With blood streaming forth, he gave this response
همزمان با جاری شدن خون از بدنش، این سخن را بر لب آورد :

‘Oh Allah, forgive them, for they know not!’
"خدايا، آنان را ببخش، چرا که نمی دانند"

او و خاندانش را قرین آرامش بدار

For his name is Ahmad and Muhammad
از برای اسمهایش، احمد و محمد(ص)

He is praised in heaven and praised on earth
در بهشت برین و زمین ستايش گردد

Though no praise can reach to his true worth
هرچند که هیچ تحسینی در خور ارزش حقیقی او نیست

Send peace on him and his family
او و خاندانش را قرین آرامش بدار

All who came to him were in awe of him
هرکه به نزدش آمد در حیرت غرق گردید

All who stayed with him fell in love with him
آنان که در جوارش بودند مجذوبش شدند

Oh! How fortunate to have been on of them
آه که آنان چه سعادتمند بودند

Min al-’affati wa ‘niqmat,

Maka ‘id al ida wa ‘l-tuf, Bi-ahli ‘l-badri Ya Allah
