A Clean Label is a low cost protective label that prevents you from drinking from a contaminated soda can. If we take the user scenario seriously, I agree with the notion that we tend to take swig from the can, without even cleaning it. It’s a subconscious act and yes, we are filthy…me included! This simple can-clip redesign adds a cleaning filament that swipes the can-surface clean in a jiffy. Cheers to a germ-free drink!

H-Socks make for lame product design, however if you consider them as packaging, I’d call them pretty clever. We all know how reflexology is great for relieving pain and clearing energy blocks, so if the pressure points are known, we can easily ask someone (or do it ourself) to do us the favor of a massage. Even better, how about using a pair as icebreakers? Wicked!

This allows a wider range of interactions. Different designs allow for the foamy element to be covered over with benefits like companion-handlebar, optional back lean or even a small luggage rack.

The City Egg by Tomasz Mikrut is a car-share concept designed to make getting around the city a cinch. The compact vehicle accommodates a single passenger enclosed in a 3-dimensional oval. Smart Angle is a visual aid for flame control on a gas stove. While cooking Chinese food, the hot Wok and ingredients are not the only thing you need to have a control over. The heat or the flame of the gas is the other key element you need to keep an eye on. The conventional way to control the flame is to bend at the waist and peek at the burner and then set the flame. Smart Angle eliminates this dangerous step by using refraction.
As the designers explain, Smart Angle helps the user to be more intuitive at controlling the flame while cooking. It prevents occupational disease that might occur in the long term; example: back and waist injuries.

My son often questions – how can perfectly wound earphones kept in the pocket, come out so highly tangled! While I’m no good at understanding this logic, however I can offer him this delightful tail! I mean the Line Tail, a cute accessory that can be used as line winder as well as a charm. I’ll take the fox, please.

My designer friends are going to appreciate the ‘0 Point Ruler’, one that gives you the flexibility to start point zero from wherever you like. The ruler is basically a pressure-sensitive touchscreen strip that has digital markings. It tanks up juice via a few good swirls around your finger and is easy to use. I love it for its innovative streak and peaceful marriage of technology.
