TEHRAN (FNA)- The 28th edition of the International Fajr Film Festival awarded Iranian director Ebrahim Hatamikia for his film 'In the Purple Color'.

Winners of the 2010 Fajr Film Festival were announced during a ceremony at Tehran's Milad Tower on Wednesday evening.

The winners were awarded by Crystal Simorghs (phoenixes) for their artworks at the end of the festival on February 4.

Best Picture In the Purple Color by Ebrahim Hatamikia

Best Actor Mohsen Tanabandeh, The First Stone and Seven Minutes to Autumn

Best Actress Negar Javaherian, Gold and Copper

Best Supporting Actor Mehdi Faqih, Solomon's Kingdom

Best Supporting Actress Shirin Yazdan-Bakhsh, Do not Disturb Please

Best Director Ebrahim Hatamikia for In the Purple Color

Special Award 40 Years Old by Alireza Raeisian and Gold and
Copper by Homayoun Asa'dian

Best Screenplay Homayoun Shahnavaz and Shahram Asadi, Night of the Incident

Best Cinematography Hassan Karimi, In the Purple Color

Best Computer Visual Effects Leo Lu, Solomon Kingdom and Hadis Bigdeli Shamlou, Seven Minutes to Autumn

Best Makeup Saeed Malekan, Solomon's Kingdom

The Fajr Film Festival was held from January 25 to February 4, 2010.
