به همین خاطر در این بخش بهترین و کاربردی ترین ترفند هارو براتون می زارم ...


براي تغيير در ريجستري ميتونيد از برنامه مثل رسكو اسپلورر استفاده كنيد ...

اما يه تذكر مهم:حتما قبل از انجام تغييرات در ريجستري حتما يه بكاب از اون تهيه كنيد تا دچار مشكل نشيد.
بايد تمامي علائم گفته شده دقيقن رعايت شوند مثلا -> ( ) / \ " " ~ و غيره
به متن تغيرات دقت كرده و همان گونه كه هست نوشته شود منظور كوچيك و يزرگ بود حروف است مثلا ويندوز اگه به اين شكل است Windows شما هم به همين شكل بنويسيد
از همه مهتر بعد از هز تغيير در رجيستري بايد يه soft reset انجام بديد تا تغييرات اعمال شود ....

While new Pocket PC owners are usually excited with their purchase, their enthusiasm is often dampened once they run into stability and speed issues.
This guide will walk you through several tips to keep your machine slick and well-oiled.
As with any system or registry tweaks, always backup in case something does go amiss. Remember, we're not responsible for any loss of data.

1. Disable Windows menu animation
Switching off eye candies like animation keeps your handheld zippy. To do so, you'll need a registry editor like PHM RegEdit to modify the registry. Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SYSTEM\GWE\Menu,
then change the value of "AniType" from 6 (default) to 0. This disables the menu animation.
If doing this is a daunting task, an easy alternative is with RegKing. This nifty freeware lets you toggle the menu animation easily and offers other tweaks.

2. Increase display cache
Another tip to speed up the display is to increase the glyph cache value. However, this will take up more system memory. Launch your registry editor and browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE.
Change the value of "limit" from 8192 (default) to 16384 or even 32768.
If meddling the registry is unnerving for you, RegKing gets this done in a few taps.

3. Close not minimize
If you are unaware, when you tap on the close button, the program only minimizes. Hence, you may end up with a string of programs running on the background taking up valuable memory. Check out some freeware task managers to better manage your device's resources

w - stands for wait or pause then specify how many seconds like w3(wait for 3 seconds)

Many OEM replace the Backlight and/or Contrast settings applet by their own versions :

Compaq iPaq 3650 :
OEM Backlight applet, same as original but with a Brightness tab for iPaq special purposes. Removed the Contrast applet because contrast settings are not supported on the iPaq.

Casio EM-500 :
OEM Brightness applet that replace both the original Backlight and Contrast. Added the ability to set different brightness values for battery and external power operations.
Removed "Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped" settings because it is not supported, replaced by the Auto Dim settings.
Included the contrast in the same applet, the system one does work, but their device act at the oposite of what it should (Dark is Light and Light is Dark).

HP Jornada 548 :
OEM Backlight applet, removed the External Power tab the "Turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped" setting for Battery Power because these settings are not supported.

Now, here is how to restore the Microsoft original applets on any Pocket PC, note that most settings OEM have been hiding with their own applet does not work anyway, the OEM applet(s) will still be available in the Settings.
For the Backlight applet, browse to

Rename the "Redirect" value to "Redirect disabled", you could just delete it, but renaming it makes it easy to go back to the OEM setting.
For the Contrast applet, do the same with

I had lots of problems increasing the mic volume on my bluetooth headset (due to all of my callers telling me that I couldn't be heard. So I increased the volume by changing this registry key value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Widcomm\Connections\00 01\MicVolume from 8 to 12. So far so good

If you bought your PPC from T-Mobile, whenever you use it to surf the net the first page that opens will always be T-Zones, even if you have set a different homepage from witihn Internet Explorer. Personally I find this very annoying.
Here is how you can stop it.

1) Using a registry editor go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\PIEplug.

2) Under this key you will find an entry called "Home". The value of this entry is the T-Zones homepage. Delete this entry to give your browser complete control of setting your default homepage.

3) Alternatively, you can change the value to a page of your choice. However, whatever you enter here will override any homepage set within Internet Explorer.

I have used this tweak on my T-Mobile MDA Pro and I suspect it should work on any other T-Mobile PPC, although I can't guarantee this

Took long time to search, here it is.
When you upgrade to WM5, MS voice command sound during announcing a call will be very low ( Imate Jaz Jar).

In order to increase the volume , navigate to HKCU\Control Pannel\SoundCategories\VoiceCommand1 Then change the value of AttenuationCategory from 4 to 1

Sound of the voice command will be even higher than the ringing tone.
You can also change the value of InitVol to 40

This is a funny one, you can increase or decrease the speed of the voice command narrator.

Navigate to
\HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Speech\Voices and on the key DefaultTTSRate (default value is 4 )

Increasing the number will increase the speed of the narration, while decreasing the number will slow it

You can follow these steps to change the default input panel. For example if you always want to use the telephone pad, :

- Use a search tool in a registry editor like PHM Registry editor, search for phone pad and you will find a string like this one:
